About Quando Analytics

Quando Analytics provides independent systematic macro sentiment analysis for professional investors.

Its focus is on identifying when markets are transitioning between range-bound and trending regimes, and on applying quantitatively tested sentiment frameworks to improve timing, risk management and strategic decision-making.

The aim is not to add to the volume of subjective market commentary, but to provide disciplined and practical intelligence rooted in observable market behaviour.

Approach

The analytical approach combines three elements:

Systematic analysis
A disciplined methodology for measuring momentum and identifying whether markets are in trending or mean-reverting regimes.

Quantitative validation
Backtesting and optimisation techniques designed to reduce false confidence, including methods intended to limit overfitting and look-forward bias.

Discretionary overlay
Selected DeMark Indicators™ are applied as a complementary discretionary layer, particularly in relation to potential trend exhaustion and price-level timing. This complements, but does not replace, the core systematic process.

A broader description of the methodology is available on request.
